In diesel engine CC mean when describing the power of an engine

CC in engines means cubic capacity. It normally refers to the stroke volume of the engine cylinder. Somepeople refer this volume in litre.
1000cc = 1 litre.
Stroke volume = pi*(D^2)*L/4
Here,
D = Cylinder bore dia.
L = Stroke length = Distance moved by piston inside the cylinder in one sroke or distance between TDC (top dead centre) and BDC( bottom dead centre).
Now coming to your question Does CC have impact in engine power?Ans. Yes.
How?
If We increase the CC , more fuel can be burnt inside the cylinder.More fuel is going inside the Combustion chamber means more power will be produced, according to this following equation.
Power = mass flow rate of fuel * calorific value of fuel.
