Cummins Filtration have developed a new lubrication filter for its Cummins ISX engines.

The new LF14000NN will be Cummins’ first lube filtering with NanoNet media, any polymeric nanotechnology based man made media originally developed regarding Fleetguard fuel filter software.

According to the company this “technology will bring a new level of lubricant filter performance to the heavy-duty diesel engine market”.

“Many of the characteristics that make NanoNet media successful in gas filter applications translate properly to lube filters, ” Cummins Filtration senior architectural technical advisor Brad Very long stated.

“By pairing NanoNet with our StrataPore synthetic mass media we have a lube separate out that’s suited to today’s innovative engine platforms and moisturizers. ”

NanoNet media inside lube filtration removes along with retains around 98 percent of all particles, even these as small as 12 microns.

Typically the 100 per cent synthetic, multi-layer polymer design is leaner than a ten cent part, and allows for maximum contaminant-holding capacity over the filter’s longevity.
