Volvo Group has suspended the actual executive who oversaw the introduction of diesel engines at the middle of a global diesel-emissions rigging scandal, sources said.
A couple familiar with the matter said NOVA had suspended Falko Rudolph, who was in charge of diesel motors between 2006 and the year 2010, as part of its investigation in to the wrongdoing, which has already observed three top engineers revoked
Rudolph has been suspended right after being questioned by inner investigators last week, one of the individuals told Reuters.
Rudolph’s pause was first reported by the Wsj.
VW declined to opinion.
